As the need for well-trained students interested in the energy industry continues to grow, the Foundation will play a critical role to getting students into a wide spectrum of educational programs. If you’re interested in supporting the Foundation, here’s a couple very easy ways to get involved:
Shop online for merchandise to celebrate the 50th anniversary year of the Lignite Energy Council. All proceeds benefit the Lignite Energy Foundation.
Donate directly to the Lignite Energy Foundation.
The Lignite Energy Council established the Lignite Energy Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit, to raise funds to support education and scholarship programs for students and teachers in the Upper Midwest who are served by coal-based electricity.
Sign up for a North Dakota Coal License Plate
To get a license plate, simply follow the instructions located on the LEC website. A portion of each plate will support the Foundation.
